How Satan stops Our prayers - Unabridged

How satan Stops Our Prayers

COMBAT IN THE HEAVENLY REALM -

by John Mulinde, Obsteig, Austria, Nov. 2000

I would like to share with you part of a testimony of a saved person who once served the devil. When I heard him give his testimony it so challenged me I did not want to believe it. I had to fast before the Lord for ten days, asking Him, "Lord, is this true?" It was at that time the Lord began to teach me the things that take place in the spiritual realm when we pray.

This man was born after his parents had dedicated themselves to lucifer. When he was still in the womb, they performed many rituals to dedicate him to the service of lucifer. When he was four years old, he began to exercise his spiritual power, and his parents began to fear him. When he was six years old, his father brought him to some witches for them to train him. And by the time he was ten years old, he was doing tremendous exploits for the kingdom of the devil. He was feared by the common witches.

He was still a young boy, but he was so terrible in the things he did. He grew to be a young man in his

twenties with a lot of blood on his hands. He killed at will. He had the ability to leave his body through transcendental meditation. And he could levitate; at times his body would rise off the ground and hang in midair. Sometimes he would go into a trance and leave his body; his body would remain behind while he went out into the world, by a practice called “astro-travelling.” He was used by satan to destroy or divide many churches, and to ruin many pastors.

One day, he was assigned to destroy a church that was full of prayer. There had been much division in this church, and much confusion. He began to work against it, but at that time, the pastor called a fast for the whole church. As the church began to fast, there was much repentance and a lot of reconciliation. The people came together and began to pray for the Lord to work in their midst. They continued interceding and crying out to God to have mercy on them and to intervene in their lives. As the days went by, the man came again and again against the church with demon spirits. But a word of prophecy came forth telling the Christians to rise up and wage warfare against the powers of darkness that were attacking the church.

So one day, the man left his body in his room to go astro-travelling. He led a powerful force of demonic spirits against the church. Now this is his testimony: His spirit moved through the air over the church and tried to attack it, but there was a covering of light over the church. Suddenly, an army of angels attacked them and fought against them in the air. All the demons fled, but he was arrested by the angels.

Yes, arrested by the angels! He found himself being held by about six angels. They brought him through the roof right before the church altar. He just appeared there as the people were praying. They were deep in prayer, engaged in spiritual warfare, binding and breaking and casting out. The pastor was on the platform leading the prayers and the warfare. The Spirit of the Lord spoke to the pastor,
"The yoke has been broken, and the victim is there before you. Help him through deliverance." As the pastor opened his eyes, he saw the young man lying there. His body was with him; he was in his body. The young man said that he doesn't know how his body joined him; he had left it back in his house. But there he was in his body. He didn't know how he had entered it; all he knew was that the angel had carried him through the roof.

Now these things are difficult to believe. The pastor silenced the church and told them what the Lord had spoken to him, and then asked the young man, "Who are you?" The young man was trembling as the demons began coming out of him. So they prayed for his deliverance, and afterwards he began to share his story. The young man has now come to the Lord, and is an evangelist preaching the gospel. He is being used by the Lord mightily in setting other people free through deliverance.

One night, I (John Mulinde) went to a dinner. The only reason I went was that someone had told me about this young man and I was very curious to see him and to find out if his story was true. So I attended the dinner, and in the evening he was given the chance to give his testimony. He spoke about so many things. At times he cried because of the things he had done. As he finished, he made an appeal.

There were many pastors in the room. He said, "I appeal to you, pastors. Please teach the people how

to pray." The people who don't pray can be taken in anything, in anything by the devil, and there are ways that the enemy can exploit their lives and their prayers. The enemy knows even how to exploit the prayers of those who don't know how to pray. "Teach the people how to use the spiritual armor that God provides."

Then he shared how he led expeditions through the air. He would go with other satanic agents and many demon spirits. It was as if they were working a shift, in the same way that you've got to go and work your shift. He had a regular, time that he was required to go and wage war in the heavenlies. He said that in the heavenlies, in the spiritual realm, if the land is covered by a blanket of darkness, the blanket is so dense it is like solid rock. And it covers the whole area. The spirits are able to go on top of and below the blanket, and from there influence the events on earth.

When the evil spirits and human satanic agents finish their shifts, they go down to earth at the points of covenant, on water or on land, to refresh their spirits. How do they refresh their spirits? By the sacrifices that people give at these altars. They could be sacrifices in open witchcraft, sacrifices in bloodshed of all types, including abortion, warfare, and human and animal sacrifices. They could be sacrifices of sexual immorality, in which people practice sexual perversions and all kinds of promiscuity. Such acts strengthen these powers. There are many different types of sacrifices.

He said that when satanic agents are up in the heavenly realm, and Christians begin to pray on earth, the Christians’ prayers appear to them in three forms. All prayers appear like smoke that is rising toward heaven.

Some prayers appear like smoke that drifts along and vanishes in the air. These prayers come from people who have sin in their lives that they are not willing to deal with. Their prayers are very weak; they are blown away and disappear in the air.

Another type of prayer is also like smoke. It rises upward until it reaches the rock; it cannot breakthrough the rock. These prayers usually come from people who try to purify themselves, but who lack faith as they pray. They usually ignore the other important aspects that are needed when someone prays.

The third type of prayer is like smoke that is filled with fire. As it rises upward, it is so hot that when it reaches the rock, the rock begins to melt like wax. It pierces the rock and goes through.

Many times, as people begin to pray, their prayers look like the first type. But as they continue praying, their prayers change and become like the second type of prayer. And as they continue praying, suddenly their prayers ignite into flames. Their prayers become so powerful that they pierce through the rock.

Many times evil agents would notice that prayers were changing and coming very close to becoming fire. These agents would then communicate with other spirits on earth and tell them, "Distract that person from prayer. Stop them from praying. Pull them out."

Many times Christians yield to these distractions. They are pressing through, repenting and allowing the Word to check their spirit. Their faith is growing. Their prayers are becoming more focused. Then the devil notices that their prayers are gaining strength, and the distractions begin. Telephones ring. Sometimes, in the middle of very, very intense prayer, the telephone rings and you think you can go answer it and then come back and continue praying. However, when you return, you go back to the beginning. And that's what the devil wants.

Other kinds of distractions come your way. They may touch your body, bringing pain somewhere.

They may make you hungry, causing you to want to go to the kitchen to prepare something to eat. As long as they can get you out of that place, they have defeated you. He said to the pastors, "Teach the people to set aside some time, not just for some casual praying, they can do that the rest of the day. Once a day, they should have a time when they are focusing wholeheartedly on God, without any distractions.

If the people persist in this kind of prayer and allow themselves to be inspired in the spirit and to keep going, something happens in the spirit. The fire touches that rock, and it melts. The man said that when the melting begins, it is so hot that no demon spirit can stand it. No human spirit can stand it. They all flee. They all run away.

There comes an opening in the spiritual realm. As soon as it appears, all this trouble in prayer stops. The person who is praying on the ground feels like their prayer has suddenly become so smooth, so enjoyable, so powerful and intense. I've discovered that at that moment, we normally lose all awareness of time and other things. Not that we become disorderly; God takes care of our time. But it is as if you lay down everything, and hook up with God. The man said that when the prayers break through, from that moment on there is no resistance at all, and the person praying can continue as long as he wants. There is no resistance to stop him.

Then he said that after the person finishes praying, the hole remains open. He said that when people rise from their place of prayer, and move on, the open hole moves along with them. They are no longer operating under the blanket. They are operating under an open heaven. He said that in that state, the devil cannot do what he wants against them. The presence of the Lord is like a pillar from heaven resting on their lives. They are protected, and there is so much power inside the pillar that as they move around, the presence touches other people as well. It discerns what the enemy has done in other people. And as they talk to people who are standing with them, they too come inside the pillar. As long as they stay inside the pillar, all the bondages placed on them by the enemy weaken.

So when people who have experienced this spiritual breakthrough share Jesus Christ with sinners, the

sinners’ resistance is low. It is very easy to bring them through to salvation. When they pray for the sick or pray about other things, the presence that is with them makes all the difference. The man said that the devil hates such people. He said that in places where prayer regularly breaks through in this way, the presence comes upon that place and does not leave. When people who don't know God enter such a place, all their bondages even suddenly weaken.

If someone is willing to minister to them with patience and love, they could easily be pulled through to salvation, not by power nor by might but by the Spirit of God, Who is present. But he said that if no one bothers to reach out to them, they merely come into His presence, feel convicted, and begin to debate whether or not to yield. If they are not pulled through to salvation, when they walk away from that place, their bondages become stronger. And the devil tries his best to prevent them from entering such an environment again.

As you can imagine, we all sat staring at the man as he told us the things he used to do and see. Then he told us what they would do to those who broke through in prayer. He said that they marked such people and studied them. They would dig up everything they could find about them, so they knew their weaknesses. When someone overcame them in prayer and broke through, they would communicate with other spirits saying, "Target him with this and this and this. They are his weaknesses." So when the person walks out of his prayer closet, the spirit of prayer is upon him, the presence is with him, his spirits are high, and the joy of the Lord is his strength. However, as he goes the enemy tries to bring things that can distract him from focusing on the Lord.

If his weakness is in the area of his temper, the enemy will cause people to do things to make him

angry. If he is not sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and he allows himself to lose his temper, he takes his eyes off the Lord. He gets angry; he feels furious. Then after a few minutes, he wants to put it behind him and move forward in the joy of the Lord; however, he doesn't feel joyful anymore. He tries to feel good again, but can’t. Why?

While he was yielding to the temptation, they were working hard to close the opening above him. Once they have restored the rock, the presence is cut off. The person does not cease being a child of God. But the extra anointing on his life, the presence that worked apart from his own effort, is cut off. They seek to know his areas of weakness.

If his weakness is temptation to commit sexual immorality, the enemy will prepare people or events, something to suddenly arouse his passion to move towards the temptation. And if the man yields to the temptation and opens his mind to receive and entertain its thoughts, when he is through and wants to again move in the anointing, he discovers it is no longer there. You might say, "That's not fair!" Just remember what the Bible says, "Put on the helmet of salvation. Put on the breastplate of righteousness." We normally do not understand the part these weapons play in warfare. But remember what Jesus told us to pray towards the end of the Lord's Prayer, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

Every time after you have a breakthrough in prayer, remember you are still a weak human being. Remember you have not yet been made perfect. Say to the Lord, "Lord, I've enjoyed this time of prayer, but as I walk out into the world, lead me not into temptation. Don't allow me to walk into the devil's trap. I know the enemy is setting a trap out there. I don't know what form it is going to take, and I know I am still weak in certain areas. Given the right circumstances, I will yield to temptation. Protect me, Lord. When you see me turning the corner where the trap has been set, cause me to turn the other way. Intervene, O Lord. Don't let me move in only my own strength and ability. Deliver me from the evil one."

God is able to do it. He is able. That is why things happen sometimes. All you need to say is, "Thank you, Jesus." That is why the Apostle Paul wrote in the book of First Thessalonians, "Thank God in everything, for that is the will of God in Christ for you." Some things are not good. They are painful, and we wonder why God allows them. But if we only knew what He is saving us from, we would thank Him. When we have learned to trust the Lord, we thank Him in everything.

Beloved, I do not know if I should go deeper, because I do not want to start something I cannot finish. But let me just try to go one step further. The man said that when prayer breaks through like that, the answer will always come. He said he did not know of a single case in which prayer broke through and the answer did not come. He said that the answer always came, but that in most cases, it never reached the person who asked for it. Why? The battle in the heavenlies. He said that after they succeeded in cutting off the open heaven and restoring the rock, they would watch the person and wait because they knew the answer would definitely come.

Then the man said something that really shook my faith. It was because of what he shared next that I fasted for ten days asking, “Lord, is this true? Can You prove it to me?” The man said that every Christian has an angel who serves them. Now we know the Bible says that angels are ministering spirits who minister to us. He said that when people pray, the answer comes in the hands of their angel. The angel brings the answer, just like we read in the book of Daniel. Then he said something that was difficult to receive: If the one who prays knows of the spiritual armor and is clothed with it, the answer comes by an angel who is also clothed in full armor.

However, if the one who prays doesn't care about being clothed in spiritual armor, their angel comes to them without spiritual armor. When Christians are careless about the kinds of thoughts that enter their minds and do not fight the battle for their minds, their angels come to them without helmets. Whatever spiritual weapon you ignore on earth, your angel does not have it when he serves you. In other words, our spiritual armor is not protecting our physical bodies; it is protecting our spiritual exploits.

The man said that as the angel was coming they would watch him to
find the areas that were uncovered, and then attack those areas. If he didn’t have a helmet, they would shoot at his head. If he didn’t have a breastplate, they would shoot at his chest. If he didn’t have shoes, they would make a fire, causing him to have to walk through fire. Now, I am just repeating what the man said. Actually, we asked him, "Can angels feel fire?" You know what his reply was? Remember this is the spiritual realm. They are spirits dealing with spirits. The battle is intense. When they overpower an angel of God, the first thing they go after is the answer he is carrying, and they get it from him. They then give it to people who are involved in cults or witchcraft, so people might say, "I got this because of witchcraft."

Remember what the Bible says in the book of James? All good things come from God. So where does the devil get the things he gives to his people? Some people who cannot have children go to witch doctors and satanists and become pregnant! Who gave them the baby? Is satan a creator? No! He steals from those who don't pray through to the end. Jesus said, "Pray without ceasing." And then He said, "But when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith?" Will He find you still waiting? Or will you have given up, and the enemy stolen what you prayed for?

Then the man said that they were not satisfied with just stealing the answer. They were also interested in detaining the angel. They would start fighting against him. And he said that sometimes they would succeed in holding and binding the angel. He said that when that happens, the Christian on earth becomes a victim as well. They can do anything to that Christian because he is left totally without ministry in the spiritual realm.

I asked him, "Do you mean that an angel can be held captive by demonic forces?" The man did not

know the Scriptures at the time he was saying all this. He did not know very many verses. He was just sharing his experience. He said that they could not hold the angel very long because as other Christians prayed elsewhere, reinforcements would come and the angels would go free. However, if the Christian responsible did not pray through, he remained a captive. Then the enemy would send his own angel to them as an angel of light. That is how deception comes—false visions and false prophecies, false leading or guidance in the spirit, and the making of all kinds wrong decisions. And many times this person is open to all kinds of attacks and bondages.

And I asked the Lord. I left that dinner extremely troubled. I said, "Lord, I don't want to even try to believe this." It takes away all of my confidence, my security. During the ten days that I sought the Lord, the Lord did two things: He not only confirmed the things I had heard, He also opened my mind to understand a lot more of what happens in the spiritual realm that the man could not tell us. And two, He led me to see what we are supposed to do as the things are happening so that we are not defeated, but can overcome. We need to know and really come to terms with three things.

First: How to use the weapons of our warfare. The Bible calls them the armor of God. It is not our armor; it is God's armor. When we use it, we allow God to fight on our behalf. Second: Understand the relationship between ministering spirits—angels—and our spiritual lives, and be sensitive to what is happening in our hearts as a leading regarding what needs to be done in the spiritual realm on our behalf. That brings us to the third thing: The Holy Spirit.

We should not regard the Holy Spirit as our servant, who is serving us and bringing us things. He does

not run back and forth between us and the Father to tell Him what we need. That is the angels’ job. He stands by our side. Doing what? Guiding us, teaching us, leading us, helping us to pray in the right way. And when these things are happening in the spiritual realm, He lets us know. Sometimes He wakes you up in the middle of the night and says, "Pray." But you say, "No! My time has not yet come." And He says, "Pray now!" Why? He sees what is happening in the spiritual realm. Sometimes He says, "Fast tomorrow!" But you say, "Oh, no; I'll start on Monday!"

But He understands what is happening in the spiritual realm. We should learn to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. He guides us in paths of righteousness. Beloved we've got to stop here. Maybe tomorrow morning we will talk about how we can pray through—knowing the battles in the spiritual realm and how we can break through. And how we can maintain our breakthrough once we have achieved it. Once we learn this, it becomes enjoyable. Then we will learn one thing: The battle is not ours; the battle is the Lord’s! Hallelujah!

Let's stand up. Look someone in the eye, and think about how many times that person may have

missed what God had for him. Join your hands if you can, with two or three people, and tell each other, "There's no need for any more defeat! We can overcome! There is enough power to overcome! Jesus has already finished the work." Pray for each other that the Lord will help us to overcome. We should not lose. There is enough grace, enough power, for victory. Thank you, Jesus.

COVID-19 VACCINE EVANGELIST

New World Order
Believers should be careful the way they address this issue! Let's not forget that we are the Light [direction] of the World. For the whole world lies in spiritual misinformation/darkness without Christians; without Jesus the true Light[enlightment].
New world order is a template for the Antichrist to easily [without suspicion/cunningly] come in.
We agree the covid vaccine is not the 666 mark but it is a template for new world order/ invasion.
Once this vaccine is collected/received [by manipulation/invasion on fundamental human rights] - a template for the future coming 666 mark [Governments sponsored, people cannot buy or sell except they collect the mark.], Then the antichrist comes in easily [with this template on ground] and yes people would say have we been used to this pattern before, that it is nothing new, it not the Antichrist!!!!
Even though rapture will take place before the antichrist is being revealed, [which of course the world will deny after the rapture anything called rapture, they will cleverly and scientifically explain it as scientific occurence that occurs probably once in several thousands of years or whichever scientific theories they could use to explain the matter - just like they have been doing before now] but the New World order will be put in place before his [the Antichrist's] arrival.
Even though we have the knowledge that the rapture will precede the coming of the Antichrist, we Professing Christians should lay our Faith standards before the rapture and avoid being nonchalant in this matter by saying "at least rapture will take place before the Antichrist is revealed".
Lets not forget that even though the scriptures states that the 666 mark comes after rapture, it didn't state that the NewWorld order too will come after rapture, NO!!!!
Furthermore, it is the materials, books, bible, articles [that are left behind after rapture] that people left behind will read and use to build their faith, be convinced and strengthen themselves from taking the 666 mark after the rapture.
But if we remain nonchalant and keep on endorsing the new world order [fore-runner/John the Baptist] of 666 we do not things right in accordance to Faith. [1 Cor 8 ]. And at the same time translate this insensitivity to people and unbelievers that did not get raptured and so it's like we endorsing 666 before our rapture.
As an example, let us not forget that as we speak there are many Christians that cannot speak against gayism, lesbianism, and the rest. we keep endorsing this as rights and profess to let them be.
Today, we even have Christian gays (charismatic, pentecoastal etc), gay bishops [imagine a Christian leader - bishop that has a congregation being a party to Satan's agenda - Romans 1:18-32]
We have even heard of media censoring some pages of the Holy scriptures as hate speech!
So both gayism, lesbianism, new-world-order and every abomination are signs of the end time and fore-runners to the 666.
So in the name of Faith/Boldness we should not weaken the Faith of other coming believers [1 Cor 8:9].

Our attitude if we have received the vaccine.
It is to keep quiet! [Knowledge puffs off]. We know in part. Love is the Greatest.
It is to keep asking God for Grace to be where he is!
It is not to condemn people that haven't received the vaccine, as having no Faith.
Likewise [those that have not received this vaccine ] shouldn't condemn those that have, knowing The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. [Gal 5:6]
Do not feel guilty if you have taken it outside knowledge. But be watchful in prayer for we are in the last days and many antichrists have come - 1 John 2:18.
Don't be a vaccine evangelist in puffed-up knowledge of Faith!
*Finally*: When the son of man comes will he find Faith [endurance/perseverance Faith] on earth. Will he find Daniels, Shadracks, Messhachs, Abednegos, Peter, Pauls on EArth!
MAY GOD'S GRACE KEEP US TILL THE END. AMEN

Leadership nuggets

Leadership involves impact/influence. The way you can advise you're a pioneer is to look over your shoulder. In the event that some person's taking after, then you're the pioneer. In the event that no one's tailing, you're not the pioneer. The minute you need to say to the individuals in your service, "I'm the pioneer!" you are no more the pioneer. Authority is something that is earned. You procure the right to lead through six character qualities throughout your life.

1 Timothy 3:1, 7 says, "If anybody sets his heart on being a supervisor, he seeks a respectable assignment…  He additionally must have a decent notoriety with outcasts so he won't fall into disfavor and into the fiend's trap."

On the off chance that you set your heart on being a regulator, that is a decent aspiration. It's alright to have an aspiration to be a pioneer. Be that as it may in case you're going to be pioneer, you've got to have a decent notoriety. The way to a decent notoriety can be summed up in the statement "character" – your inward demeanor, your qualities, and your activities. There's a contrast in the middle of notoriety and character. Notoriety is the thing that individuals think you are. Character is the thing that you really are. D.l. Cranky said, "Character is the thing that you are oblivious." Character is the thing that you are the point at which no one's around. Character is the thing that you have left when you've lost your notoriety. It's what's left over. The way to a decent notoriety is having great character. The issue is, we're more worried about picture than character.

In the event that authority is impact, then impact is earned by appreciation. On the off chance that you don't have the admiration of individuals, you're not a pioneer. There are six character qualities, all in Proverbs that secure the appreciation we have to lead.

1. We acquire regard through trustworthiness.

On the off chance that you don't have trustworthiness, its not genuine achievement; its imposter achievement. Prov. 10:9 says, "The man of respectability strolls safely. He who takes screwy ways will be discovered." One of the profits of strolling in honesty is certainty on the grounds that you don't have anything to cover up. Certainty originates from having no trepidation of being figured out.

2. We acquire regard through lowliness.

Proverbs 29:23 "Self-importance will bring your defeat yet in the event that you're unassuming, you will be regarded." The Bible likewise says, "Dress yourselves in modesty". On the off chance that you need to dress for achievement, that is a decent approach to dress. Pretty much the time I think I've got everything together, God hauls the mat out from under me. It's no issue at all for God to humble you. You can either modest yourself or He will mortify you. Those are the choices.

I recollect finding out about a school main one time who committed a significant error and everyone in the school thought about it. He thought, "I'm not going to apologize to everyone. I'd be humiliated and go down in the kids' eyes." Then he altered his opinion. So he talked over the radio to the whole school and said, "I committed an error and I apologize. I need to ask this entire school to pardon me for this choice." He turned into the most regarded key of that school, just on the grounds that the educators and the children were so unused to having somebody let it out when they weren't right. The children went up to him saying, "I simply wish I had a father like you. I wish I had a father who could let it be known when he wasn't right." The Bible says, "Before honor is modesty." So, when we concede we're wrong, instead of being downsized in individuals' eyes, we're brought up in individuals' eyes.

3. We win regard through trustworthiness.

We respect individuals who can be relied on, individuals who are dependable, who are reliable. Prov 25:15 says, "In the same way as mists and wind without downpour is a man who gloats of blessings he doesn't give." Have you ever met anyone like that? Continually guaranteeing the moon however conveying nothing. Continually saying they're going to help you in the service yet they don't. They're generally long on guarantees yet short on execution. Napoleon once said, "Guarantee everything, convey nothing." He could have been a legislator. That is not the best approach to live.

4. We gain regard by living by right needs.

Admiration is earned through living by need. Prov 11:27 says, "If your objectives are great you'll be regarded." Proverbs 14:22 says, "You will acquire the trust and appreciation of others on the off chance that you work for good." If you need to be a pioneer, have great objectives. On the off chance that your objectives are regarded and your objectives are great, you will be regarded. The normal American will live 25,550 days. How you contribute that time is absolutely up to you. You can squander it, you can use it, and you can contribute it. Anyhow you've got to have commendable objectives.

5. We procure regard through liberality.

Prov 11:16 proclaims, "He who offers liberally to the poor and shows consideration will be capable and regarded." The unavoidable truth is, nobody is ever respected for what they've gotten. They generally are regarded for what they give. We're never regarded for what we keep, what we get, yet what we dole out.

Andrew Carnegie once recorded a few objectives and when he kicked the bucket they discovered them in his work area: "I'm going to use the first 50% of my life profiting that I can and I'm going to use the second a large portion of my nurturing everything endlessly." And he did. Thus, his name is still known forever and after a day. Eras later.

There's one and only issue with that rationality. No one knows when they're going to kick the bucket. How are you going to know when to begin doling out? How can he know when he's at the half way point? Do your given' while you're livin' then you're knowin' where its goin'. With regards to providing for, some individuals remain absolutely determined.

Leadership is influence, but you cannot lead without these nuggets. They are fundamental in building respect. When you have the regard for people, they will follow you anywhere.

Progressing by THE WORD!

progressing by the WORD of GOD
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (1 Timothy 4:15)

8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8 - KJV).

The Word of God has a service in our lives, and this is something that needs to be underlined by the Church. The Christian should be ravenous for the Word. You need to constantly open your heart and minds to the Word to construct, fortify, and secure you forever to appreciate all that God has made accessible to you in Christ. We read the Apostle Paul's counsel to the young person Timothy, saying, "Contemplate upon these things; provide for thyself completely to them… ." What things would he say he was alluding to?

In the former parts of 1 Timothy, Paul had imparted particular and basic truths from God's Word with Timothy; it was those disclosures he urged him to ruminate upon. In the event that the Spirit thought it fit to give Timothy such fundamental advice through the Apostle Paul, then its just as befitting to us today. We're to always ponder the disclosure of God's Word that we've gotten.

Perceive likewise that he said to him, "… provide for thyself entirely to them… " That signifies, "yield" yourself totally to the Word. Permit the Word to have control over your life. Given it a chance to rule your reasoning, impact your words, and move your activities. Yielding yourself to the Word is a cognizant and purposeful reaction, started from your soul to the Word of God.

Envision that somebody said to you, "Get up," and you instantly obliged, particularly upon due examination of the direction, and attention of the one from whom it came, you've "yielded" yourself to that guideline. Thus, you'll then appreciate the profits of the direction. The profit of "yielding" yourself entirely to the Word is that your "benefitting" will seem to all. The Greek word deciphered "benefitting" is "prokope," which implies advancement, advancement or headway. This implies you'll make progression by the Word; your advancement gets to be clear when the Word is last power in your life.

The expression, "may show up" in our opening verse really implies more than "something nearing easily into sight"; the Greek term is "Phaneros," which signifies, "to spread abroad." Your progression, advancement, and thriving will "spread abroad," get to be generally and straightforwardly known, as you "contemplate" and "yield" yourself entirely and totally to the Word of God

Have a blessed day!

Paul's Thorn in the flesh

what was pauls thorn in the flesh

What About Paul's Thorn?

"But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell" (Num. 33:55).

"Don't you remember, though, Brother Hagin 'Paul was sick all his life.'"

"No, I don't remember that."

"But he had a thorn in the flesh."

What About Paul's Thorn in the Flesh?

APOSTLE PAULS THORN IN THE FLESH, WHAT IS IT

What About Paul's Thorn in the Flesh?

Tradition has taught that Paul's thorn in the flesh was some type of physical ailment or sickness. If you will take time to study the Word, you will find that this is not true. Paul clearly states in II Corinthians 12:7 that because of the abundance of revelations he had received, he was given a thorn in the flesh and the thorn was "a messenger of Satan." The Greek word translated as messenger always refers to someone who is sent and denotes a definite personality.

This same word for messenger is translated in other verses of the New Testament as "angel." Angels, as God's messengers, are created beings with personalites. Satan's messengers would be in the same category. In contrast, sickness is not a personality, nor a messenger.

Paul's thorn in the flesh was a wicked spirit or angel sent by Satan to buffet him. Buffet means to strike repeatedly. God does not send wicked spirits against people in the Body of Christ for any reason (James 1:13). He sent the Holy Spirit and has given us His Word, which is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness to discipline and guide us (see John 16:13; II Timothy 3:16-17).

The phrase "thorn in the flesh" is a figure of speech or illustration. It is similar to calling someone who irritates us "a pain in the neck." Likewise, Paul's thorn was an evil angel who caused him great irritation, but not with sickness or disease. In II Corinthians 11:24-26, Paul lists what some of these "irritations" were - being imprisoned, stoned, beaten, shipwrecked and attacked by angry mobs.

Other examples of the persecutions Paul suffered are found in Acts 13:45, 50 and Acts 14:5-7, 19-20. The people in these verses were instruments used by the source of persecution - the messenger of Satan.

This evil angel was assigned to Paul for one reason - to stop the Word from being preached. Wherever Paul went, the messenger of Satan worked to incite the people against him. All the persecutions that Paul suffered were Satan's attempt to steal the Word from him (see Mark 4:14-20).

Satan will see to it that no believer is exalted above the measure of the Word that actually lives in him. The Word that is alive in your heart is the word on which you steadfastly act. You will have to stand in faith for every word of revelation knowledge you receive.

Many have used Galatians 4:13 to support their traditional teaching that Paul's thorn was sickness or disease: "You know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first." The Greek word for infirmities means "want of strength; weakness, indicating inability to produce results." This translation is used in I Corinthians 2:3: "And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling." Like many believers, when Paul first started ministering, he never felt he had the natural ability to do the job God called him to do.

But the next verse goes on to tell us he was obedient anyway and the Holy Spirit made up the difference with a demonstration of His power: "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" (I Corinthians 2:4). Paul's infirmity or weakness of the flesh provided an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work.

That's why Paul could say, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities [lack of strength], that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities [weakness], in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong" (II Corinthians 12:9-10). Our weakness is no longer a problem once we learn to rely on the Holy Spirit's power.

God had given Paul the revelation of the authority of the believer. Paul had authority over Satan in the Name of Jesus - just as you do. But he had to enforce his authority by directly commanding the evil spirit to desist in his maneuvers against him. However, in this instance, Paul sought deliverance from the Lord instead.

"For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me" (II Corinthians 12:8). If you want results, do not ask God to deal with the devil for you. Just as God told Moses to drive out the inhabitants of the land (Numbers 33:52), He instructs you to drive out the demons or evil spirits (Mark 16:17). "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

When Paul asked the Lord to make this messenger of Satan depart from him, the Lord said, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness" (II Corinthians 12:9). He did not say that the messenger would not depart. He was saying to Paul, "My favor is enough. For when you do not have the ability to humanly overcome, you have My Name to stop Satan's attack and cast out the devil."

The Greek word dunamis, which is translated strength in this verse, can also be translated as power. We get our English words dynamite and dynamo from it. It is the same word Jesus used in Acts 1:8 when He said, "Ye shall receive power [dunamis], after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." Weymouth's translation of II Corinthians 12:9 reads, "My grace suffices for you, for power is perfected in weakness" (The New Testament in Modern Speech). This is the opposite of the traditional teaching that Paul had no victory over the thorn in the flesh.

Paul lived to be an old man and then said that he could not decide whether to stay here or to go be with the Lord (Philippians 1:22-24). He needed to stay here for the Church's sake, but he yearned to go be with Jesus. He did not leave this world until he and the Lord were ready. This is not the description of a man who lived with sickness and disease.

Satan's angel, the thorn in the flesh, could gain no victory over Paul through adverse circumstances because the power of Christ rested on him. "I have learned in any and all circumstances, the secret of facing every situation..." (Philippians 4:12, The Amplified Bible). He revealed this secret in the next verse: "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me - I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me."

When Paul in himself was weak, Paul in Christ was strong. Satan's angel, the thorn in the flesh that we have heard so much about, never did overcome Paul and the power of God. Satan could do no more than irritate or annoy him like a thorn in his flesh - a temporary discomfort which could be removed. Paul was a covenant man; he ran the race and won. He knew his authority as a believer. He knew the shield of faith would quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16). When he began using his faith, the Lord was able to deliver him out of all the afflictions and persecutions (II Timothy 3:10-11).

Paul's thorn in the flesh is a tradition that Satan has used to deceive and rob many people. Using it as an excuse, tradition says that God gets glory from sickness because the world sees how marvelously the Christian bears pain and agony. Tradition never adds up to the right answer - anyone knows that the world has all the pain and agony it can stand. The world wants a way out of sickness, not another way into it.

If we allow the traditions of men to usurp authority over God's Word, we will be helpless in the face of sickness. God will be able to do nothing for us, because we have made the Word "of none effect" in our lives (Matthew 15:6).

Use the following confession to declare your freedom from ineffective religious traditions and walk in the power of God's Word instead.

Your Word is Truth, O Lord. It is an incorruptible seed which I plant in my heart. I believe the Word has been planted in good ground and that I receive a mighty harvest.

I do not receive the ineffectual traditions of religion or the world which nullify the Word. I root out every perverse doctrine. I resist the powers of darkness that come to steal the Word of God.

The Word reveals Your will and I set myself in agreement with it. I renew my mind daily with Your Word in order to acquaint myself more intimately with You and to know Your ways. As Your Word becomes established in my heart, I become rooted and grounded in the Truth. In Jesus' Name, amen.

How Important Is Speaking in Tongues?

faith success speak in tongues christianity

How Important is Speaking in Tongues By Kenneth E. Hagin

There is more to being filled with the Holy Ghost than speaking in tongues, but tongues are an important and integral part of receiving the Holy Ghost, since they are the initial evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2:4). Also, speaking in tongues is an integral part of the believer’s devotional prayer life, for as the Apostle Paul said, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues . . .” (1 Cor. 14:18). I, too, can say with Paul, “I thank my God I speak with tongues.”

In the Church world today, many people say, “Tongues have been done away with, because the Bible says that tongues will cease.” The Bible does say that one day, tongues will cease (see First Corinthians 13:8–12), but that is not referring to this present Church Age. In Heaven, there will be no necessity for tongues, because that which is perfect will have come (1 Cor. 13:10).

DEALING WISELY IN LIFE'S AFFAIRS

RHEMA ENCOUNTER DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DEALING WISELY IN LIFE'S AFFAIRS

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).

The Septuagint rendering of the latter part of the verse above is more enlightening. It didn't just say you'd have good success; rather, it goes on to say you'll become perceptive. The Greek word used is "suniemi"; it means to be sagacious and perspicacious; to have high intelligence; to have your thinking level elevated to a high class! It also means to be acutely insightful, possessing the ability to "mentally put things together." That's what the Word of God does in your life. It makes you wise and penetratingly discerning.

The Amplified version says, "…you shall deal wisely and have good success." Meditating on the Word makes this happen for you. You become excellent in your dealings with people, in business, in your finances, etc. The Spirit of God, through the Word, brings extraordinary sagacity into your life. Every Christian needs this.

Psalm 119:98 says, "Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me." The Word makes you wiser than your adversaries. Then Psalm 119:99-100 says, "I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts." His testimonies are His declaration of Himself: What He said about Himself, about us, and about His kingdom. As you meditate on all that, your mindset is elevated to make accurate decisions and choices. Everything you do will turn out excellently.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word, which is able to make me wise unto salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. Your Word imparts wisdom to me to deal excellently in all affairs of life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

How to Have a Harmonious Marriage

How to Have a Harmonious Marriage

The Number One Problem in Marriages—Strife
Harmony at home is one of the greatest blessings in life. It’s also one of the easiest blessings to lose if we don’t make a decision to do all we can to nurture our marriage relationship.

From the Scriptures you can learn the proper attitude about marriage: “Let marriage be held in honor (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price and especially dear) in all things. And thus let the marriage bed be undefiled (kept undishonored); for God will judge and punish the unchaste [all guilty of sexual vice] and adulterous” (Hebrews 13:4, The Amplified Bible).

When a couple ceases to view their marriage as precious and dear, they can become selfish and contentious with one another. Left uncorrected this attitude will lead to full-blown strife and can eventually lead to things such as sexual sin, divorce, physical injury

Great Faith can be yours

great faith can be yours faithsuccess christian
What is faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
—Hebrews 11:1
Moffatt's translation of this verse reads,
"Now faith means that we are confident of what we hope for, convinced of what we do not see."

"Faith is just acting on God's Word irrespective of what we feel, think or see." Faith is an act. That's what faith is.

Importance of faith

We cannot please God (Satisfy God/make God happy) without faith:

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
—Hebrews 11:6

How to receive faith

Rom 10:17
So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

People often pray for faith, saying "What I need is faith." But actually what they need is knowledge of God's Word( i.e hearing
Gods Word).
When they hear Gods Word, faith automatically comes. You could pray for faith forever, but if you didn't get any hearing/knowledge of God's Word, you would never get faith. This is because "... faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
Removing the comma, it could be read this way: faith comes by HEARING AND HEARING the WORD of GOD. Faith does not come by I have heard the Word of God before but later turning your minds from it. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God continually.

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein DAY AND NIGHT, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Greatest hindrance to faith

The only way the bible records to get faith is by hearing the Word of God.  If you could get faith in any other way, the bible would have stated it. Therefore we can see that the greatest hindrance to faith is a lack of understanding of the Word of God. Our faith is held in bondage because we lack understanding of how to act on God's Word.

Faith Ingredients – Confession and Perseverance

  • Confessing Gods word and holding fast to your confession
Our confessions rule us. Confessing without doubt in heart.
That is a spiritual law which few of us realize.
Jesus said, "... whosoever shall say ... and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith" (Mark 11:23).

Great faith

What is great faith?
This is the type of faith that has total (100%) trust in God.
It is an unwavering/unshakable faith.
Matt 8:10,26; Matt 15:28; Luke 7:9.

How to get great faith

By constant hearing of the Word of God and acting on it with all your heart - irrespective of what you think, feel or see.

God is watching over us (Protection)

God is watching over us affectionately
Gods angels are watching over us

Ps 91:11 - NET
For he will order his angels to protect you in all you do.

Matt 18:10
“See that you do not disdain one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Ps 34:7
The LORD’s angel camps around the LORD’s loyal followers and delivers them.

Heb 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Dan 6:22 – NET BIBLE
My God sent his angel and closed the lions’ mouths so that they have not harmed me, because I was found to be innocent before him. Nor have I done any harm to you, O king.”

Zech 1:10
Then the man standing among the myrtle trees spoke up and said, “These are the ones whom the LORD has sent to walk about (patrol) on the earth.”

2Thess 1:7
and to you who are being afflicted to give rest together with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.

 Heb 12:22
But you have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly
Have we ever pondered on the above scriptures about God protection over us.

So don't be dreadful of evil: sickness, accident, death, terrorist assaults, or natural disasters in light of the fact that your Heavenly Father adores you and watches over you.

Don’t just read this and say it is for those in the previous generations before us or those in the bible days. No Gods Word is eternal. This promise is for us.

Angels are one (not all) of the ways by which God does this. God has declared that no malicious, plague or mischance will come upon you or even draw close to your home "for He should give His holy messengers charge over you, to keep you in all your ways".

What's happening in our environment (sickness, disasters, attacks) is not enough proof for us to take our minds off the Word of God. Beloved there are one thousand and one (innumerable) testimonies of God’s protection over us even in this generation.

Let me illustrate this with a genuine story that happened not long in our generation:

A Christian was in his home one day when at the middle of the night, hired assassins/armed robber came to attack him at home. He was terrified then remembered the Word of God (That God’s Angels are guarding/protecting him as a Believer) and then screamed, Oh God, where are my Guardian angels! Suddenly he heard a strange sound on his roof. The sound was so scaring that all the bandits fled for their dear life.

This is a real life testimony that happened in Nigeria. God’s angels are everywhere protecting us. Let us put our trust in his word. He shall give his angles charge over us - Ps 91:11

Confession:

My faith is strong in Jesus, God's Angels are watching over me at every time. No plague shall come near my dwelling.

The DNA OF GOD (PROTECTION)

FAITHSUCCESS the DNA OF GOD, the perfect DNA
The DNA OF GOD (PROTECTION)

What is DNA

DNA is a self replicating molecule that holds the genetic code for our life, health, and for the unique physical features of our bodies. DNA has the divine blueprint for our body, programming our cells to maintain optimum health from birth to death.

Adam’s DNA

Adam had the spiritual DNA of God (Perfect health, no lack/want, sin-free etc).

Gen 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…

The Hebrew word tselem (image) also means “likeness,” “resemblance,” or “representation.”

In Genesis 3, Adam sinned and this resulted in an imperfect DNA
Gen 3:6  (KJV)
And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Gen 3:9 -19 (KJV)
And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou?
And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.
And he said, Who told thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.

Unfortunately Adam transferred this DNA OF sin, sickness, poverty and death to every man. Every man is a biological son of Adam and so we inherited this IMPERFECT nature (SIN nature)
Every man needs Jesus irrespective of who you think you are.

CHANGE OF DNA

A DIVINE DNA

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
To be in Christ (To accept Jesus as Lord) means you are part of a DIVINE household – the royal family of God.
If a man accepts Jesus as his Lord, he becomes a new creature and has received the life and nature of God so he has a new Spiritual DNA.

The life and nature of God equals the DNA of God. When you become a new creation (accept Jesus as Lord also known as being born again) the spiritual part of you receives the DNA of God. The DNA of God (the life and nature of God) is called eternal life. Eternal life is the life and nature of God that is imparted to a person’s spirit at the new birth making them a new creation.

We have been washed in the blood of Jesus, and in essence,
we became “re-gened.” We have a new DNA – THE DNA OF GOD

It is the life and nature of God that makes a person a new creation. This new creation person has spiritual union with Deity. The old sinful nature of spiritual death has passed away, and now this new creation person has a new nature of spiritual life called eternal life.

Eternal life is a present possession, not something that is obtained at a future date.
Eternal life does not begin after physical death. Eternal life begins at the new birth
and continues for eternity. Eternal life starts here on the earth the moment a person
becomes a new creation. Receiving eternal life is a supernatural experience that
occurs during the rebirth of every child of God. A born again Christian is one who
has received eternal life; one who has received the life and nature of God.
When you become a new creation, failure and defeat are replaced with success and
victory.

If a person is in Christ, poverty and lack are replaced with prosperity and abundance. When you become a new creation, sin and sickness are replaced with righteousness and health. Fear is replaced with faith. Worry and anxiety are replaced with peace. Depression is replaced with joy. Anger is replaced with love.  Bitterness and resentment are replaced with forgiveness. Death is replaced with life!

two of the characteristics of this new nature are faith and love.

Manifesting this new nature – DIVINE DNA
Now that we have a new DNA, we should set our mind on the Word of God. For the bible says:

Proverbs 23:7,
“As a man thinks within, so is he.”

Our life, our actions, our destinies are determined by THE WAY WE THINK. So, let’s get to the root, thinking in alignment with God’s Word, and we will experience the God-kind-of life—superabundant in quantity and superior in quality. (John 10:10)

As a new creation, we cannot be sick if only we believe it and confess right, now in a world where people are scared of EBOLA, HIV AND THE REST. WE CAN PLACE OUR TRUST IN GOD AND KEEP THE RIGHT CONFESSION.

I CANNOT BE SICK – I CANNOT BE INFECTED WITH EBOLA VIRUS
I CANNOT FAIL
I DO NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF BONDAGE TO FEAR
I AM A NEW CREATURE
I AM FROM ABOVE
I AM A SUCCESS
PROSPERITY IS MINE
EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES IS MINE
I AM BLESSED
I BELONG TO THE CLASS OF GOD
I HAVE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
