Walk in love

Walk in Love

love-picture-faithsuccess-christianity-blog
John 14:15 - If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 13:34 - A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 13:35 - By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Love (agape, charity)

The solution to the world problem is love. Jesus while on earth gave to solution to the problem of the world. the solution is summed up in the following.

1. Love your God with your whole heart
2. Love your neighbour as yourself.

Aside this there is no law (commandment).

Love is both expressive and reciprocal. agape is not love of mouth but love expressed in actions. we can't truly love without showing it.

1John 2:10 - He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

1John 3:18 - My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed [actions] and in truth.

Love is always an excellent choice. when we apply love as the rule in our relationship with others, we make the right decisions. don't follow your mind, follow the law of love.

When we walk in love, we will have a perfect society, a society without evil. This is the will of God.

Millions are being spent on a lot of sectors to achieve a perfect society, but the ingredient of Love (Agape) is overlooked.

The world/ an unbeliever does not have agape. agape is given to man when he gives his life to Christ (Rom 5:5). an unbeliever cannot have this perfect (unselfish) love, it is impossible.

Action Plan: believers let us proclaim the gospel, let us lead people to receive Jesus as their Saviour so as to receive this perfect love (that could make a man die for his enemy), make unbelievers escape the coming damnation and have a perfect society. God Bless us as we do his will.

A Sinner's Prayer to Receive Jesus as Savior - Christianity

A Sinner's Prayer to Receive Jesus as Savior

sinners pray to receive jesus as saviour christianity

Dear Heavenly Father ...

I come to You in the Name of Jesus.

Your Word says, "... him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37), so I know You won't cast me out, but You take me in and I thank you for it.

You said in Your Word, "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom. 10:13). I am calling on Your name, so I know You have saved me now.

You also said "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Rom. 10:9,10). I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He was raised from the dead for my justification, and I confess Him now as my Lord. Because Your Word says, "... with the heart man believeth unto righteousness ..." and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Cor. 5:21)... And I am saved!

Thank You Lord!

The Master Plan

The Master Plan

master plan faithsuccess.org Jesus Christianity
John 10:10  -The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

It was never God's plan for man die neither was it in his plan for man to suffer, lack etc. Gods will for man was to dwell in the realm of abundance (abundant life). This was the master plan. In the beginning when God finished he creation of the heavens and earth he gave man total dominion of his works and made him king on earth.
This is Gods master plan for man to represent him here on earth. to be the God of this world.

However man betrayed God's trust by disobeying the commandment of God and sold his birthright to Satan making Satan the god of this world. He handed over the keys of life to Satan by disobeying the Word of God.

Gen 3:6 - And when the woman saw that the tree {knowledge of good and evil} [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

This resulted in the death of Man. Man fell from the realm of abundance to the realm of poverty, lack, sickness, hatred, sin, folly etc

Gods master plan is still valid even till today. God has not changed and wll never change his mind/master plan.

Because of this God sent his only begotten son to this world to die for our sins and restore the master plan. Thank God this master plan has been restored even though we do not see it now, it has been restored.

it is our duty as Christians to renew our mind to His Word. this is the way we can come to terms with God as touching his great plan for humanity. Beloved every man in Christ has free access to abundant life. the abundant life cannot be exhausted. it is abundant, overflowing, eternal, without end (everlasting).

There is health, wealth, grace, security, favour, help, breakthrough, etc in this life given by Christ Jesus. Go for the abundant life now, take it! it is yours!

The devil is the thief that comes to prevent people from seeing/taking this abundant life.

Take it, it is yours.
Take all that God has for you

Believers prayer: Father, I know that you sent you son Jesus Christ for me to have abundant life. I take possession of this abundant life for it belongs to me in Jesus Name. I refuse to settle for less than what you planned for me. I walk in your perfect plan for my life. I walk in abundance.

Sinners prayer

I need help; how can I witness for Christ

I need help; how can I witness for Jesus Christ

witness for Jesus christ Christianity
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15 KJV)
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. (1 Peter 3:15 KJV)

But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:7-8 KJV)

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8 KJV)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 KJV)

Since you are saved (seen God’s Light), you have to share the gospel with the people around you. You must not be selfish with your salvation.
This is a commandment from God. We should share the Love of Jesus with others and prevent them from eternal destruction (hell).
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20 KJV)
Sharing the Gospel can be a nervous task. Eloquent persons have become stammerers during the course of sharing the gospel. Lively persons and talkatives have become dull and quiet when it comes to sharing the gospel.

Reasons for not being able to share the Gospel effectively

·         Being Scared (afraid) of God as that wicked Judge, just waiting for you to make mistakes
·         Inadequate preparation – inability to memorise scriptures
·         Preaching out of compulsion even when you don’t understanding what the gospel (Good news not Bad news) is
·         Trying to quote a lot of scriptures
·         Trying to speak KJV (Non modern) English instead of their natural way of speaking
·         Having a wrong mindset that preaching is very difficult
·         Lack of Zeal
·         Among others…

Nevertheless I will correct these wrong attitudes as well as give other methods of sharing the gospel.
·         God is not a wicked Judge, He is a loving father (Jn 3:16) willing to forgive all your sins as you ask for pardon and grant you more grace. (Heb 4:16)
·         You don’t need to quote a lot of scriptures and confuse the main message, understand what you are preaching and give it in clear terms.
·         Speaking  KJV (Non modern) English does not make one spiritual. Preach the gospel in modern English. If you are finding that version of bible difficult to understand, get a bible in simple English (NIV, TLB etc). Ignorance is a killer
·         “I can’t do I mindset” is a wrong mindset. Preaching is not difficult my brother/sister just as speaking is not difficult. Preaching is as easy as discussion after a football match. It only requires training
·         Be Zealous for God. God hates lukewarmness

Some other means of Sharing the Gospel

·         Giving of Tracts
·         Through a bible Study group
·         Discussion
·         Through Stickers/Banners/Billboards/Magazines
·         Through Christian movies
·         Through phone calls/text message
·         Though social network
·         Among many…

FaithSuccess Tip: you can get a mentor or partner so as to make sharing the Gospel easy (2 Tim 2:2)

Are You Fed Up? Please Dont give up

Are You Fed Up? Please Don't give up

In I Peter 5:7,  "Casting all your care upon him: for he careth for you."
Are you faced with unplesant cirumstances and fed up? Cast your care on him.
Casting the care of your problems over on the Lord and not taking them back is not an easy task especially when the cares involve situations that face you daily and throughout twenty-four hours a day! Some problems never seem to leave.
Do you see that if you do not cast your cares on Him, you may not be exalted above your circumstances or problems?

The Bible says that the devil is seeking WHOM he may devour. He seeks to devour every man by persecution and temptation. infact every available weapon he uses again us BUT cast the whole of your care on the Lord, for God is our helper, he has said he will not leave us nor forsake us neither will he permit tempataion more than that we can bear.
Another mighty weapon of Satan apart from the above is crafty deception.  He uses subtlety
He tries to catche us (man) UNAWARE with the aim of to stealing our blessings and keeping us from receiving God's best. His devices can be so crafty that you do not even notice what is happening.
dont be excessively WORRIED about the problem, and in your mind dont say  there is no way out.
It's like saying, "If I can't handle this situation—neither can God." If you don't, at some point, cast the care over on the Lord, then you prolong the "due time."
Remember that you are not the only one going through what you're going through—even though it feels like your problems far exceed anyone else's.

The following are biblical instruments to face this situation, Dont be discouraged
  • The weapon of faith - the weapon of abraham
  • the weapon of praise and worship - david weapon
  • the weapon of prayer
  • praying in the spirit - Many christians don't do this (1 Cor 14)
  • praying in the understanding
  • The weapon of and fasting
  • the weapon of patience - weapon of Joseph
As you use the weapons, i see God turning this unplesant situation for your favour

Never give up,
Winners dont quit!

Confesssion: i will never give up, God is on my side, God has spoken and have i heard twice that power belong to him. i rebuke every demon troubling my life in Jesus name. i am more than a conqueror.

Search the Scriptures (Bible)

Search the Scriptures (Bible)

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein…”  (Joshua 1:8) - KJV
Joshua 1:-8  (NET)
8 This law scroll must not leave your lips! You must memorize it day and night so you can carefully obey all that is written in it. Then you will prosper and be successful.

Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that doesn't need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2Ti 2:15) – KJV

People have a habit of finding solutions to problems in every other way (e.g consulting mediums, astrology, horoscope, philosophy, metaphysics, sorcery, yoga meditations etc ) but far from the God prescribed (Best) way.

The Word (Scripture) is Gods answer to every man’s question. All you have to do is to search the scriptures and discover what you ought to do. God’s word covers all aspect of your life; spiritual, health, moral, financial, marital, social, academic etc

Gods word is Gods will for man. To know the mind of God as to the step to take maybe regarding a particular matter, search the scriptures.

“Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Eph 5:17).

God is a loving father that wants the best for us. So he has given us his counsel that we should hear and not forsake

Proverbs 1:8  (NET)
Listen, my child, to the instruction from your father,
and do not forsake the teaching from your mother.

Search the scriptures in order to do exploits, as it is written  …but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. (Dan 11:32) KJV

People who are looking for success, God has given you the rules. Meditate in it, observe it, and thus shalt thou make thy way prosperous, for these are the rules to prosperity. These are the rules to success. So the conditions upon which he can know the power, the presence, the victory etc are in the Bible (God’s Word)

It is good to cultivate the habit of finding out what God has said in the bible concerning every venture you are about to carry out before you set out on them.

Search the scriptures to know Gods will for your life, your destiny, career, ministry, finances, marriage, health etc this will help you to organize you life according to the will of God.

Don’t please! Search the scriptures before taking that Step. God loves you very much.

Sinner Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father ...

Believers Prayer/Confession: Father I thank you for your Holy written word. From today henceforth I determine to know your will before I take a step. In Jesus Name, I rebuke every foul spirit that is preventing me from searching the scriptures and obeying your Word. Amen

Congratulations as you begin a life of fulfillment.

The Difference Between "Natural Talents" and "Spiritual Gifts"

spiritual gifts, natural talents, faith success christianity
In the many years before I was a Christian, I used to hear believers talk about their “spiritual gifts”. They would describe their ability to sing or teach or perform a certain task, and for the life of me, these abilities merely sounded like “natural talents”. I came to the conclusion those wacky Christians just had a language all their own and a strong desire to see everything as a gift from God (when it could more easily be described in natural terms). When I became Christian myself, I began to recognize a number of abilities emerging or blossoming in my own life. Were these just latent talents, or was there something to this “spiritual gifting” stuff? Maybe it was time to take a second look at the issue of “spiritual gifts” and compare them to what I used to think of as “natural talents”.

Even before I started to look at the differences between “gifts” and “talents”,

I recognized they all came from the same source. If we accept the premise that an all-powerful God is the creator of all matter and life, it is reasonable to conclude our abilities (even if we are inclined to attribute them to genetics or environment), must ultimately come from the source of genetics and environment: the God who created everything in the first place. We can squabble over whether something is a talent or a gift, but we need to be careful, as thoughtful Christians, not to exchange the two words as if they had identical meaning. They don’t.

Everyone has some sort of innate talent. You may not think that you are particularly talented, but if you take a closer look at yourself, you’ll discover there is some ability you possess in more abundance than others. Sure, there may be someone out there who is even better at this particular ability, but that’s not the point; you also have an increased ability in this area relative to your other skills and aptitudes. Maybe you’re a better athlete than musician, or maybe you’re a better artist than mathematician. You know where you are talented and where you are not. But how do you know if this particular ability you’re considering is a “natural talent” or a “spiritual gift”? Well, maybe we should start by looking at what the Bible has to say about spiritual gifts. Paul describes spiritual gifts in three places:

1 Corinthians 12:7-11
But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

Romans 12:3-8
For through the grace given to me I say to every man among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Ephesians 4:10-12
He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

Now some Christians look at these verses and wonder if the “gift list” described here is exhaustive. Are these the only abilities that are actually “spiritual gifts”? Are there any more? Well, considering the fact Paul wrote these three letters to three different groups of believers and did not routinely repeat the same list of gifts, it’s probably safe to assume there are additional spiritual gifts unlisted here. So the question is: “What are the differences between natural talents and spiritual gifts, and how might we recognize a spiritual gift when we see one?” Theologians might disagree with each other when talking about talents and gifts, but there are a number of seemingly obvious differences:

Talents Are Inherited / Gifts Are Received
This is perhaps the biggest and most important difference. Natural talents are those abilities inherited from one’s parents and nurtured in the context of one’s family. We all know people who are talented and come from a long line of family members who share the same talent. If one member of such a family does not possess this shared talent, they typically will say something like, “I didn’t get the (insert talent here) gene”. Natural talents are just that: “natural”! They can be attributed to the natural genetic material existing within all of us, passed down from generation to generation. Spiritual gifts, on the other hand, come directly from the Spirit of God; that’s why they are called “gifts” in the first place! The “Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.” Natural talents are imparted at our natural birth; spiritual gifts are given when we are born again.

Talents Are Possessed by the Saved and Unsaved / Gifts Are Possessed by the Saved
Everyone, whether they are a believer or a non-believer, has some sort of talent, but only believers have spiritual gifts. The Spirit of God resides in each and every believer, and “God has allotted to each a measure of faith,” and an ability transcending our natural talents. Because the Spirit of God is the source for spiritual gifts, we shouldn’t be surprised those who have God’s Spirit residing in them (those who are saved), would have more than natural talent; believers also have gifts of the Spirit:

The word of wisdom
The word of knowledge
Faith (extraordinary trust and surrender)
Gifts of healing
The effecting of miracles
Prophecy
The distinguishing of spirits
Tongues
The interpretation of tongues
Service
Teaching
Exhortation
Giving
Leadership
Mercy
Apostleship
Evangelism
Pastoral care

A number of spiritual gifts listed here sound a lot like natural talents. After all, don’t you know a non-Christian who is a talented leader or teacher? Non-believers can be very talented in some of these areas without having been given a gift of the Spirit. But in addition to the gifts that sound like talents possessed by non-believers, there are others on the list that seem specific to the lives of believers. Believers have many natural talents, but in addition to these talents, they are also gifted by God.

Talents Are Developed and Expected / Gifts Are Matured and Surprising
Let’s say you are a talented leader and you then become a Christian. If God decides to use you in some role of leadership, you just may find your talent is greatly multiplied when God also gives you the spiritual gift of leadership. You may now discover your leadership skills are above and beyond anything you were capable of doing prior to being saved. God has a tendency to surprise us in this way. We can all develop our natural talents with hard work and perseverance; we practice and train and along the way we can achieve the expected results. Spiritual gifts, on the other hand, are increased as we mature in our relationship with God:

Ephesians 4:14-16
As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

When we have been gifted by God to accomplish something, we should expect the unexpected. As we mature in our relationship with God, he will surprise us by gifting us beyond our natural talent.

Talents Can Be Used Selfishly / Gifts Are Used to Serve God’s Purposes
The Bible clearly tells us that spiritual gifts are given to us for a specific reason. While we may find ourselves using our natural talent to serve our own selfish interests and desires, spiritual gifts have been given to us by God “for the common good” and to the glory of God; they are given to us so we can give them back to God as we serve His purpose of building the family of believers. Spiritual gifts are given to us so all of us can perform “the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ”. That’s why all of us are gifted in some way by God. We’re not supposed to sit and watch the pastor do the work, we are supposed to get out and use the gifts God has given us.

Natural talents are the result of our genetic inheritance and the training resulting from our family environment. They are possessed by both believers and non-believers, and they can be used to serve God or serve ourselves. Spiritual gifts are given to us by the Spirit of God once we have been saved. They blossom as we mature in our faith and they are used to glorify God as we serve others and build the family of God.
