The DNA OF GOD (PROTECTION)

FAITHSUCCESS the DNA OF GOD, the perfect DNA
The DNA OF GOD (PROTECTION)

What is DNA

DNA is a self replicating molecule that holds the genetic code for our life, health, and for the unique physical features of our bodies. DNA has the divine blueprint for our body, programming our cells to maintain optimum health from birth to death.

Adam’s DNA

Adam had the spiritual DNA of God (Perfect health, no lack/want, sin-free etc).

Gen 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…

The Hebrew word tselem (image) also means “likeness,” “resemblance,” or “representation.”

In Genesis 3, Adam sinned and this resulted in an imperfect DNA
Gen 3:6  (KJV)
And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Gen 3:9 -19 (KJV)
And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou?
And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.
And he said, Who told thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.

Unfortunately Adam transferred this DNA OF sin, sickness, poverty and death to every man. Every man is a biological son of Adam and so we inherited this IMPERFECT nature (SIN nature)
Every man needs Jesus irrespective of who you think you are.

CHANGE OF DNA

A DIVINE DNA

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
To be in Christ (To accept Jesus as Lord) means you are part of a DIVINE household – the royal family of God.
If a man accepts Jesus as his Lord, he becomes a new creature and has received the life and nature of God so he has a new Spiritual DNA.

The life and nature of God equals the DNA of God. When you become a new creation (accept Jesus as Lord also known as being born again) the spiritual part of you receives the DNA of God. The DNA of God (the life and nature of God) is called eternal life. Eternal life is the life and nature of God that is imparted to a person’s spirit at the new birth making them a new creation.

We have been washed in the blood of Jesus, and in essence,
we became “re-gened.” We have a new DNA – THE DNA OF GOD

It is the life and nature of God that makes a person a new creation. This new creation person has spiritual union with Deity. The old sinful nature of spiritual death has passed away, and now this new creation person has a new nature of spiritual life called eternal life.

Eternal life is a present possession, not something that is obtained at a future date.
Eternal life does not begin after physical death. Eternal life begins at the new birth
and continues for eternity. Eternal life starts here on the earth the moment a person
becomes a new creation. Receiving eternal life is a supernatural experience that
occurs during the rebirth of every child of God. A born again Christian is one who
has received eternal life; one who has received the life and nature of God.
When you become a new creation, failure and defeat are replaced with success and
victory.

If a person is in Christ, poverty and lack are replaced with prosperity and abundance. When you become a new creation, sin and sickness are replaced with righteousness and health. Fear is replaced with faith. Worry and anxiety are replaced with peace. Depression is replaced with joy. Anger is replaced with love.  Bitterness and resentment are replaced with forgiveness. Death is replaced with life!

two of the characteristics of this new nature are faith and love.

Manifesting this new nature – DIVINE DNA
Now that we have a new DNA, we should set our mind on the Word of God. For the bible says:

Proverbs 23:7,
“As a man thinks within, so is he.”

Our life, our actions, our destinies are determined by THE WAY WE THINK. So, let’s get to the root, thinking in alignment with God’s Word, and we will experience the God-kind-of life—superabundant in quantity and superior in quality. (John 10:10)

As a new creation, we cannot be sick if only we believe it and confess right, now in a world where people are scared of EBOLA, HIV AND THE REST. WE CAN PLACE OUR TRUST IN GOD AND KEEP THE RIGHT CONFESSION.

I CANNOT BE SICK – I CANNOT BE INFECTED WITH EBOLA VIRUS
I CANNOT FAIL
I DO NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF BONDAGE TO FEAR
I AM A NEW CREATURE
I AM FROM ABOVE
I AM A SUCCESS
PROSPERITY IS MINE
EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES IS MINE
I AM BLESSED
I BELONG TO THE CLASS OF GOD
I HAVE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

Is the bible against prosperity?

does the bible condemn prosperity, affluence, financial and material wealth
Does the Bible condemn affluence?

After considering yesterday’s topic on SUCCESS, We were able to conclude that Success is not limited only to Financial, Status, Power and Position Prosperity. And that real success is as a result of fulfilling God’s plan for our life.

We considered the following scriptures yesterday:
(1Tim 6:7-8 [KJV])
For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

(Matt 16:26 [KJV])
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
(Eccl 12:13 [KJV])
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

Today, we would like to treat the topic which says

Is the bible against prosperity?

Or put it this way - does the bible condemn affluence?

The answer is NO and Our conclusion is derived from the following bible quotations

Scriptures on Affluence (Prosperity)

(2Cor 8:9 [KJV])
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

(3John 1:2 [KJV])
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest PROSPER AND BE IN HEALTH [physical prosperity], EVEN AS THY SOUL PROSPERETH.
(Deut 28:11-13 [KJV])
And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]:

(Prov 15:6 [KJV])
In the house of the righteous [is] much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.
 (Prov 22:4 [KJV])
By humility [and] the fear of the LORD [are] riches, and honour, and life.
 (Deut 30:9 [KJV])
And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
 (Isa 30:23 [KJV])
Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

(Eccl 5:19 [KJV])
Every man also to whom GOD HATH GIVEN RICHES AND WEALTH, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this [is] the gift of God.
 (Ps 112:1-3 [KJV])
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed [is] the man [that] feareth the LORD, [that] delighteth greatly in his commandments.
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
WEALTH AND RICHES [shall be] in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

(Job 22:23-25 [KJV])
If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the [gold] of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

God hates greed (covetousness)
(Luke 12:15 [KJV])
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

(2Pet 2:14 [KJV])
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

(Josh 7:20-21 [KJV])
And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they [are] hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.

Conclusion

The Bible does not condemn prosperity. God want us to prosper materially but not to set our heart (make our goal) material possessions for there is far more to prosperity that gathering physical wealth.
(Matt 6:33 [KJV])
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Please God

Happy New Month to Us all, wishing us a prosperous month in Jesus Name Amen.

pleasing God living a life of holiness in christianity faith success.jpg
Please God

Let’s first consider the difference between righteousness and holiness

Righteousness vs Holiness: Two Separate Things

Ephesians 4:22-24 - AMP:
Strip yourselves of your former nature—put off and discard your old unrenewed self—which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind—having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude; And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God's image, (Godlike) in true righteousness and holiness.
This verse makes us know that righteousness is different from holiness. Righteousness is the right-standing with God you gained when you were saved (born again). The only thing you did to be made righteous was to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and the Lord of your life.

However, Holiness is another area. Holiness is the result of your choices. It's what you do with your time and your actions. It's your conduct. It comes when you make a decision of your will to live according to the precepts of the Lord. In short, holiness is doing those things that PLEASE THE FATHER.

Does God want us to please him?

Answer: Yes, God wants us to please him (A good son will always please the father)

(1Thess 4:1 [NET])
Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how you must live and PLEASE GOD (as you are in fact living) that you do so more and more.

Romans 12:1 ESV
I appeal to you therefore, brothers by the mercies of God to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, HOLY AND ACCEPTABLE TO GOD, which is your spiritual worship.

Enoch pleased God

Hebrews 11:5 - ESV
By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having PLEASED GOD.

The Greek word for pleased in Hebrews 11:5 means to gratify entirely. God was so gratified with
Enoch that he couldn’t wait for him to die to be with him, so he took him. What a pleasing (worship/reverencing) life.

What God said about Jesus

This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (Matthew 3:17) Matthew quotes God through the prophet Isaiah saying, Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, my Beloved in whom my soul is well pleased… (Matthew 12:18; Isaiah 42:1)

How should Christians please God?

We please God by obeying His Word (living by the Spirit). This is not the era where we begin to follow a set of commandments that we can never fulfill; Now we have the Spirit of God (Empowerment/Make Possible Ability) in us to fulfill the law of LOVE.

(Rom 8:8 [NET])
Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

(Gal 5:16 [KJV])
[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

(Heb 11:6 [NET])
Now without faith it is impossible to PLEASE him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Romans 8:5
"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit".

Brethren, Determine in your heart today to live a life pleasing unto Christ. How will a man say he pleases God without obeying His Word? This is not God-like.

Let’s please God and get ready for a life of glory!

Top 10 things every new Christian should know - Part 2

top ten things every new christian should know faith success Part2

Fact 7: You need to be baptized in Water

Water baptism is necessary for every Christian. It is the Lord’s command. Peter declared “...Repent and be baptized, every one of you...” (Acts 2:38).

Water baptism in itself does not save you or wash away your sins, but is an act of your obedience in God’s Word.

Symbolically, it shows that you have died to the old sinful life, and have risen  in the newness of the Life of Christ.

Fact 8: You need to Pray every day

Prayer is the communication between you and God. Prayer is vital to your spiritual growth. God is your Heavenly Father, and He wants us to commune with each other. Not only will he answer your prayer requests, but as you pray He will provide specific guidance and strengthen us spiritually.

The scripture says in (1 Thessalonians 5:17) to  “Pray continually,”. i.e every time (without season)

Fact 9: You should tell others about Christ

You have seen the light of God also help others by helping them to see this light. God will reward every labour of Love. Sharing the gospel as a Christian is a command by God (Mark 16:15). Let us be fruitful like Jesus

Fact 10: You need the Holy Ghost Baptism for Service

The Holy Ghost is described as our Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener and Standby.

John 14:26 - AMP
But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things…

We need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost for effective witness of Jesus Christ. It is a gift of power

(Acts 1:8 [KJV])

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Extra:

You need to know that Christian living is not a bed of roses.

As it is, we are sons of God, but in a wicked world, Jesus let us know that we will face persecution in this evil world but we should rejoice for he has overcome the world for us. People of this world we hate us, speak evil about us for we are no longer of this world (of their evil deeds).

(John 16:33 [KJV])
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Doctrine of Laying of Hands

The bible has  a lot to say about Laying of hands, but in summary laying of hands is used for the following purposes:

Transmitting of blessings/Ministering a gift

DEUTERONOMY 34:9
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; FOR MOSES HAD LAID HIS HANDS UPON HIM: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Transmitting of curses

EXODUS 29:10
10 And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.

Healing the sick (Matt 16:17-18)

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Ordination into the ministry

ACTS 13:2,3
2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Holy Ghost Baptism
(Acts 19:6 [KJV])
And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Summary (Heb 6:1-2)

These 10 can be summarized into 6 headings
REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS- you are saved by faith not works
FAITH TOWARD GOD – trust in God, he is able
DOCTRINE OF BAPTISMS – baptism into the body of Christ, baptism of the Holy Ghost
LAYING ON OF HANDS – transferring of blessings/curses
RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD – the dead will resurrect to  be Judged
ETERNAL JUDGMENT – God will one day Judge all men,  one to the eternal condemnation and other to eternal life (Separation of sheep from goats)

Top 10 things every new Christian should know

top ten 10 things every new christian should know faith success.

(Heb 6:1-2 [KJV])
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; NOT LAYING AGAIN THE FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS, AND OF FAITH TOWARD GOD, OF THE DOCTRINE OF BAPTISMS, AND OF LAYING ON OF HANDS, AND OF RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD, AND OF ETERNAL JUDGMENT.

The greatest miracle/blessing that can ever happen to man is the miracle/blessing of salvation. It is the most important decision ever made by man; It is the beginning of a new life as a new creature (a child of God).

Here are top ten things that every new Christian should know

Fact 1: You are saved by faith not of works

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

It is not because you are good that you are saved, it is as a result of God’s overflowing mercy (His unmerited Grace). Every man was born bad (a Sinner/in a condemned state)

Fact 2: You are forgiven but not yet perfect

The idea that you are a Christian and that you can’t make mistakes is not true. You have a new born spirit (having the nature of God) but your soul (mind) and flesh is still that old one. Therefore you have to renew your mind with the word of God (for those God forbidden thoughts are still there) and put you flesh under ( for the flesh is at enmity with God, the desires of the flesh are sinful/carnal desires).

Therefore if we sin we have an advocate with the father Jesus Christ the righteous

1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous

Fact 3: You have the Spirit of God in you

When you gave your life to Jesus, you received the Holy Spirit into your heart. This is what makes you a part of the church – the spirit of God in you. This is not the same as Holy Ghost Baptism (which is accompanied with the evidence of speaking in tongues). There is the Spirit within (for personal edification) and the Spirit upon (for service, for witness) but nevertheless still the same Holy Spirit.
(Rom 8:9 [KJV])
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Fact 4: You have received Eternal Life

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

The scripture says that when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and receive him into your heart, you have received eternal life. In order words, when your physical body (earthly tabernacle) wears out and dies, your Spirit and soul will go to be with the Lord to spend eternity with Him! No condemnation (hell) for you.

Fact 5: You must keep living for Christ

You must understand that your salvation is based upon your “continued” relationship with Jesus. He has promised to keep you saved, as long as you keep believing and living for Him.

The Bible says, Christ will one day present us before God, holy and unblemished

“...If you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the Gospel” (Colossians 1:23).

(2Pet 1:5-11[KJV])
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
WHEREFORE THE RATHER, BRETHREN, GIVE DILIGENCE TO MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE: FOR IF YE DO THESE THINGS, YE SHALL NEVER FALL:
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:10-11 - TLB
So, dear brothers, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen, and then you will never stumble or fall away.  And God will open wide the gates of heaven for you to enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The doctrine of once saved can continue to sin and that there is no more condemnation for him is wrong. Living righteously is vital for every Christian, we need to keep living for Christ (Our new master)

Fact 6: You need to Study the Word of God daily

The Bible is God’s manual for living. Just as you cannot operate a foreign equipment without the manual, likewise you cannot live a victorious Christian life outside God’s Word

As a new Christian there are a lot of things God want to reveal to you.  God wants to show you his ways, He wants to guide you in this evil world  (The world is wicked, Satan is the god of this world and he wants evil to befall every man). The Father wants to be close to you. The study of the word of God will enlighten your mind and make you know more about God and Jesus.  Studying the bible daily will result in your Spiritual growth (2 Timothy 2:15).

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path” (Psalms 119:105).

Are Givers Losers?

are givers losers faithsuccess chistianity
II Cor. 9:6.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Today, we want to know what God says about giving. Maybe givers are losers, if  giving means losing, if givers are just wasting their dear time and resources or perhaps they are not being prudent in their spending that is why they give.

Giving to God

Prov. 3:9, 10.
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Mal. 3:10

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Giving to Man

Prov. 11:24, 25
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

The Word of God clearly states that giving bring about receiving. Many want to receive but they don’t give, some other expect to receive much but they give little (maybe 1% of what they ought to give) but to their disappointment, they receive little.
God’s word cannot falter, giving abundantly bring about abundant receiving.

Acts 9:35-42 talks about a woman Dorcas who gives generously and cheerfully. Then one day she became sick and died of the illness. As a result of her generous act, people do not want to lose her to soon, Apostle Peter was called upon to pray for her and God raised her back to life. Her giving caught God’s attention.

In 1 Kings 17:9-16, The widow gave to Elijah (the Man of God) first and God really helped her, she was sustained, she did not die of hunger.

In Acts 10:1-5, Cornelius alms giving served as a memorial to God. As a result God sent an angel to him to show him the way of Salvation (The Greatest Blessing).

In Luke 21:2, God saw the widows mite.

These are just few out of the many scriptural illustrations about Giving. God loves a cheerful Giver. God himself is the first Giver, He gave us all we have, He created the earth and yet gave the earth to man, God gave his only begotten son for our sins, He gave us the Holy Spirit as a guarantee that he will take us to heaven.

Nowadays there are a lot of unscriptural givings, people cajole and even threaten people to give, Here are some of their tactics:
“Give me, or are you not a Christian”
“Give or you will die”
“Give for a 100 fold multiplication”
“God told me to inform you that, you should sow your car, house, properties to me for a 10 fold increase”

GIVING IS GOOD, WE SHOULD HAVE A GIVING ATTITUDE

How Giving should be done (2 Cor 9:7)

Giving should be done from the bottom of the heart
It should be done cheerfully.
It should not be done reluctantly
It should not be done in compulsion (i.e I must give or else I will be face punishment) or of necessity(2 Cor 9:7 - KJV)
It should be done in faith
It should be done in LOVE

2 vital ingredients to make your faith FAITH

2 vital ingredients to make your faith FAITH FAITH SUCCESS
Today we will be discussing on the two vital/central ingredients for faith. Faith without these ingredients is faith that amounts to nothing (comes to naught).

Ingredient one:  LOVE (AGAPE)

Galatians 5:6 says,
"For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love."

Faith that worketh by love is the God kind of faith for God is love.

1 Corinthians 13: 2

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and
though I have ALL FAITH, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [the God-kind of love], I am nothing.

When we talk about LOVE, we mean agape, there are four types of love (friendship, erotic, etc), but the love we are talking about is AGAPE, KJV Version of the bible uses CHARITY for the word AGAPE. AGAPE is God kind of LOVE – a selfless love, love that does not fail (stop)

1 Corinthians 13 speaks in details about AGAPE/CHARITY.

Love is greater than faith. It takes love to make faith FAITH.

Ingredient two:  HOPE

Second, faith won't work without hope. The New English translation of Hebrews 11:1 says, "Faith gives substance to our hopes." You have to hope for something before your faith can give confidence (substance) to it. So faith is also dependent on hope.

HEBREWS 11:1

Now FAITH is the confidence (substance) of things HOPED FOR, the evidence of things not seen.

You see, if you don't hope for anything, your faith can't work because it has no goal or object to believe God for.

Some have said, “Well, I’m just waiting on God or I’m believing God.” Some of those people have been waiting for years, and they haven’t done anything. They are not really waiting on God—God has been waiting on them. They have made a decision by doing nothing.

Therefore, faith can't work without hope.

Since hope is vital for faith,  Where can we get hope:

You can always go to the Word of God and get some hope (God’s promises). People think we only get spiritual hope from the bible but not physical or financial hope. This is not true, Regardless of whether it is physical, financial, or spiritual, The bible is there for us. When your situation seems to be hopeless, go to the Word of God. God’s Word is hope for you.

God cannot lie...

God cannot lie, Gods word cannot waver faith success christianity

God’s Word cannot waver

The Veracity of God’s Word

(Num 23:19 [KJV])
God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Brethren, God’s Word is always true and does not change. It is absolute not relative. God’s word does not change with time, it is timeless. God’s Word can never fail. He can’t say one thing and mean or do another. God is not a politician that will play pranks with his Word. You can rely on God’s Word. It is infallible.

By two immutable things God cannot lie.

(Heb 6:18 [KJV])
That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Are you downcast (in a bitter state/depressed mood) because a breakthrough that you have been praying for has not yet come to pass? Perhaps it has taken some time now (days, weeks or even month) and you are asking, "How will I know that I will obtain it?" Abraham faced the same situation and God guaranteed him by covenant (Gen 15:8-21), so that by two immutable things; The ‘INFALIBILITY OF HIS WORD (IMMUTABILITY OF HIS COUNSEL)’ and ‘THE OATH’ God cannot lie.

My brethren, God has bound Himself to a covenant, an irreversible guarantee of His blessings and provision in your life, and it is all for our benefit. THE BREAKTHROUGH YOU ARE WAITING FOR IS GUARANTEED BY AN OATH YOU NEED NOT BE DISCOURAGED!

By Patience inherit the promise

(Heb 6:15 [KJV])
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Patience cannot be left out in or Work with God. God is a patient God so we his sons should learn from our father. Patience is one of the fruit of the spirit, It is a virtue. We leave in a world where everyone wants it fast (fast foods, fast everything) but Patience is a key to receiving the promise of God in our lives.

(Heb 10:35-36 [KJV])

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.  FOR YE HAVE NEED OF PATIENCE, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Delay is not denial; Let us have patience in our walk with God.

Confront your Goliath (Giant)

confront your Goliath fears failures defeat in Jesus Name faithsuccess
And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.
1 Samuel 17:42-47

The Amplified Bible says that Goliath “scorned and despised him”, for he was but an adolescent, with a healthy reddish color and a fair face (vs 42). He saw it as an insult and cursed David, promising to feed his carcass (corpse) to animals. But, David didn't run away from Goliath just because he was huge (a Giant), nor because of his threats; he ran toward him. He had a winning attitude

David didn't care if he was small. He didn't care if he didn't have an AK 47 or a sophisticated machine gun to whip a giant. Instead, he responded to the giant's threats with WORDS OF CONFIDENCE IN GOD. "This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand and I will smite thee..." (vs. 46). Notice that David wasn't confident in his own ability but in the ability of the God he served. That's how we should be!

It does not matter how small, insignificant or incapable we think we are, God is capable and big enough to fight all our giants and give us the victory. We just have to be courageous to trust Him like David and speak the end result with heart faith.

The Bible said that David hurled his slingshot and with a stone hit Goliath in the one spot that was unprotected—his head. Goliath's big body fell to the ground, and  david ran towards him and cutoff his (Goliath’s) head with his (Goliath’s) own sword.

There are a lot of Goliaths (Giants) today

If you are suffering from a particular sickness, disease, a besetting sin, guilt, fears, failure, financial challenges, generational curse, marital/family challenges etc; this is also a Giant (Goliath).

It's time to say to that challenge! “This day you shall bow to me in Jesus Name."

Brethren, Victory is yours, the battle is the Lord’s – confront your Giant by the power of God.

You Have unparalleled righteousness

picture first-class-righteousness-faith-success-christianity-Jesus
2 Corinthians 5:21- KJV
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:21 - TLB
For God took the sinless Christ and poured into him our sins. Then, in exchange, he poured God's goodness into us!

What is Righteousness?

Righteousness is the ability to stand before God without any sense of condemnation, inferiority complex, fear, sin consciousness or anything of such. Righteousness simply means right standing with God.

Should we work to become righteousness?

Some Christians believe that they have to work at becoming more righteous.

No! Righteousness is the rightness with God that springs forth from believing in God.

Rom 4:3 - KJV
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Rom 4:3 - TLB
For the Scriptures tell us Abraham believed God, and that is why God canceled his sins and declared him "not guilty."

Righteousness is a gift from God to us through Jesus. And since it is a gift, we cannot earn it by keeping the law. We can only receive it!

How do we receive this gift?

We receive the gift of righteousness by believing in Jesus as our Lord and savior. We receive it by faith (believing) that Jesus died in our place (for our sins) and rose up on the third day for our Justification. God made Jesus "who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him". So, we are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are as righteous as Jesus is!

Do we have classes of righteousness?

But some of us think that in the body of Christ, there are different classes of righteousness, like we have university degrees – First Class, Second Class, Third Class, Pass and Fail

Some believe their pastor/prophet’s righteousness is – First class, while their own is second class or third class. No wonder they don’t have the boldness to pray to God. They always want somebody else to pray to God on their behalf

That is not what the Scripture says! When God gave us Jesus, He took our place (unrighteousness). So we all (Believers/Christians) have His righteousness (First Class). This means that we are absolutely righteous in God's eyes! We cannot but have first-class righteousness!

At the cross of Calvary, the divine exchange took place. Jesus took our place so that we might become the righteousness of God. He was spotless (without sin), but He was made sin in our place. We did not deserve to be made righteous, but we were made righteous because of what Jesus did for us (Grace).

This is awesome!

What a gospel (good news)!

What an undeserving grace!

The Winning Approach

You've probably heard it said, "It's in the hands of God whether we will be winners or losers."

Do you believe that?

I don't!

Man was created to be a winner. The Bible tells us so! We read in Genesis, for example, that man was originally put on this earth to have dominion over the work of God's hands. God gave him dominion over the earth and everything that crept, flew, crawled and breathed there. In fact, man didn't even know what losing was until he separated himself from God through disobedience in the Garden of Eden. When that happened, man plunged into the defeat realm. He had not choice but to accept failure as his lot in life, as a result of the disobedience. This demoted man to a subordinate position—a position he was never meant to occupy.
It's a sad story. But if you're a born-again child of God, I have good news for you. Your story has a happy ending. Through faith in Christ Jesus

You've been transformed from the inside out. You've been made a winner once again!
You cannot know this by feeling nor thinking. You can only know this from God's Word alone. You might be thinking, I don't feel like a winner! I feel like a loser—and I have plenty of failures in my life to prove it! If that's the case, don't worry. You just need a new attitude. And you can get it from the Word of God.

In the book of Romans, Apostle Paul told the Church not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of their mind that they may prove the perfect, good and acceptable will of God.

Rom 12:2 - KJV
And be not conformed to this world [FAILURE]: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind [WITH GOD'S WORD], that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I am reminded here of a king who wanted to fight a battle but his soldiers were so filled with the fear of loosing the battle. On the contrary, the king wanted to persuade them to fight the battle for he knew they will win if only they fought with enthusiasm. he then told his disciples that he has a 'MAJIC COIN' and if he will win a battle the side of the coin that will face up when it is tossed will be the eagle and if they will lose the battle the part of the coin that will face up will be the bear i.e the coin has two sides (eagle and bear side). He then called all his soldiers together and tossed the coin three times in their presence, in which the eagle side of the coin showed up those three times. The 'majic coin' indicated  that they would win the battle. This really encouraged the soldiers and they went with the King to fight the battle and WON.

After the battle the King revealed to them that it was not a  'majic coin' and as a matter of fact the two sides of the coin are both "eagle'. There is no bear side of the coin.

This is the POWER OF A WINNING MINDSET.

Jesus said all things are possible for him that BELIEVETH (Mark 9:22). There are about 365 places in the scriptures that tells us to 'FEAR NOT'.

Brethren, if a man is in Christ He is a new creature (2 Cor 5:17), failure, negativity is passed away. All things have become new.

Nine things God wants to do for you

9 things God wants to do for you faith success christianity

Below are nine things God wants to do for you as written in Psalm 91.

Ps 91:14 - 16 KJV
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:  I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with him in trouble;  I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Ps 91:14-16 - MSG
14 "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says GOD, "I'll get you out of any trouble. I'll give you the best of care if you'll only get to know and trust me.  Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times; I'll rescue you, then throw you a party.  I'll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!"

Ps 91:14-16 - NET
The LORD says, “Because he is devoted to me, I will deliver him;  I will protect him because he is loyal to me.  When he calls out to me, I will answer him.  I will be with him when he is in trouble; I will rescue him and bring him honor. I will satisfy him with long life, and will let him see my salvation.

Ps 91:14-16 - TLB
For the Lord says, "Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will make him great because he trusts in my name.  When he calls on me, I will answer; I will be with him in trouble and rescue him and honor him. I will satisfy him with a full life and give him my salvation.

Ps 91:14-16 - GNT
God says, "I will save those who love me and will protect those who acknowledge me as LORD.
When they call to me, I will answer them; when they are in trouble, I will be with them.
I will rescue them and honor them.  I will reward them with long life; I will save them."

•    Number 1: He wants to protect you - Ps 91:4

God wants to protect you. He is the Great Protector. There is no security in man, money nor in horses (Psalm 20:7), armour cars, bodyguards, dogs etc. God is the ultimate protector. All who trust in other gods will be put to shame – Psalm 16:4. God wants to be your protector

Zech 2:4-5 - NIV
and said to him: "Run, tell that young man, 'Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of men and livestock in it. And I myself will be A WALL OF FIRE (PROTECTION) around it,' declares the LORD, 'and I will be its glory within.'

Ps 55:22 - NIV
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; HE WILL NEVER LET THE RIGHTEOUS FALL.

•    Number 2: He wants to keep you free from sickness - Ps 91:10

The will of God for us is to be in health. Regardless of our backgrounds, age, statuses etc, God wants us to be whole. John 3:2 further buttresses this point. Sickness is as a result of disobedience to God. He wants us to be in perfect health spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Ps 107:19-20- NIV
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.  20 He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

Ps 103:2-5 - NIV
Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits —  who forgives all your sins and HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES,   who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,  who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Also Related:  101 things God said about healing.

•    Number 3: He wants to set you on high (Psalm 91:14 KJV), i.e. give you the best of care (Psalm 91:14 MSG).

God want the best for us and to set us on High -Jer 29:11. He was the one that raised David from a shepherd to a King, turned Moses from a murderer to a prophet, turned Rahab from a prosptitue to a faith hero, turned Abraham from the father of none to father of many nations. God is the Great promoter (Psalm 75:6).

•    Number 4: He wants to make you a wonder - Ps 91:7

God made Joseph a wonder to his brothers, he made David a wonder, made Solomon a wonder, He is still in the business of making people “a wonder”. He said we are the light of the world, the whole creation is waiting for our (Sons of God) manifestation.

•    Number 5: He wants to answer you when you call upon Him - Ps 91:15.

Yes, God wants to answer us when we call upon him. Below are scriptural examples and promises concerning this.
2 Kings 20:5-6 - NIV
"Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, 'This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the LORD. I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria.
John 13:14 -
'whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,

Jeremiah 33:3 -,
"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

Matthew 7:7,8
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

•    Number 6: He wants to be with you in trouble - Ps 91:15;

I [will be] with him in trouble. God has promised never to leave us nor to forsake us. He has promised to be with us in trouble he said whenever we pass through water, fire etc. He will be with us . God does not forsake the righteous. He is a PRESENT help in times of trouble.

•    Number 7: He wants to deliver and honour you - Ps 91:15.

PSALM 34:19
